Each country has its own unique cuisine and certain elements or dishes of that cuisine are more famous than others and tend to make their way into popular eating in other countries. Spain is probably most famous for its tapas and rightly so. When I’m in Spain it’s always what I look forward to most.
This coming weekend in New Zealand we turn our clocks back, which heralds the end of daylight saving and, sad but true, summer. Luckily the days are still warm with plenty of sunshine but there is a definite chill creeping into the mornings and evenings.
Following on from my blog last week extoling the virtues of the Marlborough region I thought this week I would move north and give you a glimpse of what New Zealand’s North Island has to offer.
